Audition Nation came to Mobile Studios with an idea for complete portable studio where a small crew could quickly set up multiple cameras and shoot performance audition videos on location. The system also needed to have direct-to-disk recording capacity as Audition Nation does considerable post-production in Final Cut Studio. |

| Mobile Studios designed a PortaCast Live Production System for Audition Nation using the powerful Panasonic AV-HS400 switcher. It is mounted next to a multi-input audio panel to handle the instruments and microphones. Below is a battery backup unit above which is considerable open space, allowing for extreme future expandability and a lightweight portable studio. Since the AV-HS400 has a built-in multiviewer, a 26" Panasonic monitor was included. the Motu V4HD allows for Firewire 800 output of the program, which feeds directly into either the MacBook Pro or MacPro tower, dropping easily into the Final Cut Studio timeline. |  |
